What Does Termite Damage Look Like?
Termites live to damage wood – that doesn’t come as a surprise to anyone. If you have termites in your property, you might notice their effects in your walls, support beams or patio. The wood they feed on will appear hollowed out or tunneled through, and generally weaker than you’d like the structure of your home to be. But that’s not even the worst of it. Termite damage can also look like:
- Cracks in walls, ceiling beams or rafters
- Bubbles or sagging areas in the floor
- Weak and hollow floorboards and baseboards
- Broken roof tiles
- Warped doors and window frames
